FaceBook, Linkedin, and Twitter have quickly become one of the largest gatherings of individuals in history. To use FaceBook, Linkedin, Twitter and others, you need to sign up for an account, but it is free. You then make other people your friends, which allows for automatic links and notiviations, if desired. It has become the most common way for the younger generation to socialize and is catching on with many of the older generations, such as me at age 66. It also advantageous for one to stay in touch with distance relatives easily in a rather social, with no stress situation over the Internet that goes beyond e-mail capabilities with photos, videos and more personal multimedia capabilities.
The trick of using social-networking skills is to first search Reference USA to learn who are the officers in a company and then find them in Facebook, Linkedin, and/or Twitter with a well thought out question or suggestion about their company and bingo, you have self-started a communication relationship with someone you need to impress and best of all brain-storm/network withi.
