Dear Carmody Computer Parents and Their Students:
Second Grading Period - Did You Know Why It Is Critical
For Students, Parents and Teachers Alike!
Severarl important points to emphasize in this, the 12th 2008 fall semester newsletter.
- Did You Kow Why Technology Education is critical to all students as well as their teachers alike? Here's a must link to download a PowerPoint slideshow that substantiates the importance of technology for every student and their computer teachers. Not only do we live in a technology changing world, but keeping up with technology is rapidly changing how creative we can be. The PowerPoint's statistics are ultra informative. Please don't miss it. You will not be disappointed with the effort to download the PowerPoint and go through the entire 115 slides which takes place in just 4 minute!. There's even music to accompany the slides. Go to: http://www.toolsfortheclassroom.com/page12.html and select the second download: Version V (5) July 2008 with music. It runs right off of the Internet without any downloads. The slideshow runs without having PowerPoint on your computer. The statistics are not only relevant for technology requirements for all students for the future but for faculty as well all of us all need to progress with computer technology as the world dramtically changes for technology changes and all of us need to upgrade our expertise. The world is progressing at "warp speed" in this era of rapid technology change.
