Dear Carmody Middle School Elective 7th Grade Parents and Students:

1. Grades for the fourth grading period are current. Check student grades on the Carmody Parent Portal daily at https://campus.jeffco.k12.co.us/campus/portal/jeffco_IC.jsp. 4th Grading Period Progress report cards will be given out to all students on Wednesday, April 4, 2007.
2. Strongly recommend that students make up any and all missing work over spring break before April 4th.. For a list of links that your child can download database assignments over spring break, go to:
• Presidents #1 Worksheet - assignment #1 - C-3. Special clue sheet available with not only the answers, but more importantly, specific steps in learning how to use a database to search for the correct answers: President No. 1 Clue Sheet . And submit to Dr. Data only on Tuesday, April 3, 2007.

You Can Do On-Line Database Assignments for Home Use 24/7

Namely, you don't need Clarisworks to do the database assignments over the Internet whereever you are over spring break. Use the following account information and you have access to all of the database assignments that can be done at home. You do not have to have Clarisworks or Appleworks on your home computer in order to do the assignments on your home computer.

Go to layout to find specific database file to work on (Pres, bronco, inventor, etc.).. This on-line database works just like Clarisworks or Appleworks on our PC lab computers.

4. Korean penpal letters will be mailed on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Please have your child submit a final, two-page double spaced letter by tomorrow as the very last deadline for Dr. Data to ship the letters at his expense. 5. Spring Fever is evident if you view repeated "M's" as missing assignments at the Carmody Parent Portal at: https://campus.jeffco.k12.co.us/campus/portal/jeffco_IC.jsp Namely, take advantage of spring break or April might be a difficult month trying to make up missing assignments plus keeping up with new assignments.
