1. The first week of the second grading is over and hopefully, your child is keeping up with the assignments and tests.  If not, take advantage of all of the web-based instruction available for makeup with no penalties for both 7th and 8th grade Dr. Data classes at:  http://www.kuzmich.com/carmody/Curriculum_Preview99.html .  Over 9,200 hits from parents and students who have taken advantage of Dr. Data's unique web-based curriculum over the past 10 years at Carmody. 10,000 hits will occur sometime this semester!
   
   
2. On Monday, there will be brand-new security system installed in the PC Lab allowing me to monitor and work with all students individually from my computer console in the lab to help them more personally.  I guarantee there will be much dinner conversationon Monday evening about how this new technology will be a positive addition to our outstanding 7th/8th grade computer curriculum
   
   
3. Dr. Data's youngest placed second in the symphonic orchestra competition at Colorado State University last week.  Here's the web link for my son's sterling performance at Colorado State University last Tuesday evening.  It has both audio and video streaming playback at:  http://www.kuzmich.com/csu/csu3.html . You will need to have RealPlayer installed on your computer for playbackalong with a broadband Internet connection.  There's a free download if you don't have RealPlayer.  If you need to download RealPlayer, go to: RealOne Player   His violin concerto is very, very challenging and musically interesting.  Enjoy it and you will not be disappointed. Last November, this son did a clinic for Carmody's orchestra with his equally talented sister and maybe during the third week of March, he may do another clinic for Carmody's orchestra.
   
   
4. My head-on accident-prone son is continuing to recover amazing well defying all odds.
