  3. Solutions for assignments not being credited/graded?
    • Save ones assignments many times during a class period so one can always show it to Dr. Data again.
    • Always save before printing just in the case the computer should crash
    • Save all returned completed assignments in the student notebook so the student has proof that it was done.
    • If assignments are completed at home, simple reprint them and show to Dr. Data the next day in class along with a parent signature and date completed verifying that your child did the work themselves.

    5. For Friday there are three choices: pick one of the spreadsheet options provided. Two of which are worth 300 points and one is worth 200 points. Learning Objective: after the work is completed, you need create/print a bill to submit to the customer. Here's a sample view at: http://www.kuzmich.com/carmody/business/Invoice.pdf. This is to be done in a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel. Must add the totals of expenses and display a formula. No formula, no grade. To create a formula, go to the cell that needs to add up all the columns. Type =SUM(. Then click on the first cell to be added and drag to the last one and close with right parenthesis ). Hit return key and you have answer displayed. After completing the spreadsheet, here's how to display a formula so you get credit for the spreadsheet. Normally, you would print it out, but today without printing capabilities, just show the formula to Dr. Data for a grade.

      Till next time,

      Dr. Data
